YEDDO, Ind. – Wayne A. Hankins Jr., 26, of Kingman Route 1, died at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 28, 1976) as the result of an auto accident. He was killed when he was thrown from the auto in which he was a passenger following a head-on collision about two miles west of Williamsport on State Road 28. He was born in Crawfordsville, Ind., on July 17, 1950, the son of Wayne and Mary Clark Hankins. He was employed at the Crown Laundry in Lafayette. Survivors include his parents of Kingman Route 1; two brothers, Theodore at home and Wallace Pickett of Danville, Ill.; three uncles and an aunt. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman. Internment will be in Cooper’s Chapel near Covington. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. – jlr

YEDDO — Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Woodrow Funeral Home at Kingman for Wayne Hankins Jr., 26, of Rt. 1, Kingman. Mr. Hankins died in an automobile accident Tuesday evening near Williamsport. He was employed at the Crown Laundry at Lafayette. Born July 17, 1950, he was a son of Wayne and Mary Clark Hankins of Crawfordsville. Survivors are his parents; two brothers, Theadore, at home and Wallace Pickett of Danville, Ill.; three uncles; and an aunt. Burial will be in Cooper's Chapel Cemetery near Covington.
